Inside the Atelier
Atelier Cologne celebrated the third anniversary of its arrival in Hong Kong by building an entire re-imagined Parisian street, Rue d'Atelier, in ifc mall which lasted from September 28 to October 1 last year. Guests strolling along the walkway were taken on an olfactory journey, experiencing through senses, including sight, sound and smell, the stories behind the maison's top three creations: Oolang Infini, Clementine California and Orange Sanguine.
Moncler launched its two-week Genius pop-up boutique at ifc mall last October, debuting its eighth collaborative collection as part of the initiative. After working with the likes of Simone Rocha and Hiroshi Fujiwara, the brand chose Palm Angels as its latest co-conspirator, working with designer Francesco Ragazzi to release a limited-edition line predominantly in red and black. Among the many celebrities that turned out for the opening event was American rapper Pusha T, who flew to the city to give a special performance at the after-party.
Last October marked the opening of Italian menswear brand Brioni's second boutique in the city, and the brand feted the launch of its new store with an event and exhibition held at ifc's Atrium. While many socialites were in attendance at the opening cocktail debuting the four-day display, which was titled 'Masterful Tailoring Meets a Masterpiece', all eyes were on a certain 5.5-metre gentleman - a statue dressed in a made-to-order Brioni Bespoke tuxedo which took over 100 hours to tailor.
