DINO DAYS

MEET THE T.REX, an immersive exhibition jointly presented by First Initiative Foundation and ifc mall, brought large-scale dinosaur fossils to the general public in Hong Kong for the first time, including that of The American Dragon, a 12-metre-long Tyrannosaurus Rex discovered in South Dakota. The fossil display was accompanied by the Adventure Trail, a series of interactive checkpoints set throughout the shopping mall. Utilising AR technology, it allowed trail followers to truly experience the land of the dinosaurs.

MEAT CUTE

Commemorating its long-awaited Hong Kong debut, Shake Shack held a one-day pop-up at ifc's Oval Atrium last spring to herald its permanent arrival. The space was transformed into Madison Square Park, the site of the famed burger chain’s first outlet, and incorporated the iconic Shake Shack chessboard with the landmarks of New York and Hong Kong.

MAKE-UP MADNESS

Coinciding with the opening of its flagship boutique at ifc, cosmetics brand NARS created a four-day pop-up boutique at the mall's Oval Atrium with a digital lip-colour matching service, hosting a VIP cocktail session on opening day attended by local stars Josie Ho, Mandy Wong, Roxanne Tong and more.

PEARLS OF THE ORIENT

Mikimoto celebrated its 125th anniversary with a high-jewellery exhibition at ifc's Oval Atrium. Key historical pieces, such as a masterpiece sash clip first shown at the World Expo in Paris in 1937, were showcased alongside the brand-new Praise to Nature high-jewellery collection recently launched in Tokyo, as well as the Pétales Collection Les Pétales Place Vendôme inspired by beautiful Paris.
