The word "rei" translates as courtesy and this stylish Japanese restaurant with full harbour views oozes traditional Japanese hospitality with its sushi bar for savouring assorted sushi and sashimi, and a menu that reflects both traditional and modern Japanese cuisine.Signature dishes range from the classic such as grilled kinki fish to the contemporary such as its Rei roll, an innovative concoction stuffed with minced tuna, layered with spring onion and spicy sauce topped with crab roe. Ingredients are flown from Japan six times a week to ensure ultimate freshness.

Rei offers even more choices on the menu at her new home. Amongst all new surprises, teppanyaki is definitely the highlight. Our Executive Chef has prepared distinctive sets as well as a la carte items. Other highlights include fresh sashimi and seafood imported six times a week from Tsukiji, Japan and authentic Japanese home specialties. Décor in light brown tone projects a modest mood with a tactile quality with the highlight of grand lights with a morning-glory-shaped crown and sparkling tassels dropping down from the high ceiling.
