Chinese New Year Blessings from ifc mall
 |
This Chinese New Year, the Oval Atrium of ifc mall will be transformed into a traditional Chinese courtyard to spread “Chinese New Year Blessings from ifc mall” from February 1 to February 21, where the mall's New Year mascots —Gigantic Tumblers (不倒翁) will appear in the form of the revered Chinese deities “Fu Lu Shou” (福祿壽) and “Cai Shen” (財神) respectively. While the tumblers will stand out from the auspicious adornments and the peach blossoms to bring visitors felicity, longevity and fortune, visitors could also touch the adjacent gigantic gold sycee (金元寶) to proliferate prosperity in the coming year!
Four “Gigantic Deity Tumblers” sending visitors warmest New Year blessings This year, ifc mall has once again surprised visitors with installation of 8-foot-tall “Gigantic Chinese Tumblers” as the centerpiece of the Lunar New Year decoration. ifc visitors will adore the “Gigantic Tumblers” for their chunky body, breezy gesture and convivial smile, and the Hero Tumblers will rock cheerfully to the rhythm of the airy New Year music as a gesture of joyful greeting!
These tumblers will appear in the form of traditional Chinese icons “Fu Lu Shou” and “Cai Shen” respectively to deliver ifc's heartfelt New Year blessings: recognized by his dress and scroll, the “Fu Star” (福) brings people good fortune; dressing in a governor's gown, the “Lu Star” (祿) dictates one's success and wealth; carrying a celestial peach and a cane, the “Shou Star” (壽) blesses people with longevity; appearing in a red gown and holding a gold sycee, the “Cai Shen” grants visitors ampleness and prosperity in the coming year. Through the installation of the “Gigantic Chinese Tumblers” and traditional Chinese mythology, ifc hopes to encourage everyone to stay perseverant and resilient as the tumblers, and be blessed by the icons in the face of hardship!
Man-sized gold sycee as a symbol of wealth and abundance In addition to the lively tumblers, visitors to ifc mall are privileged to find a man-sized gold sycee in the Oval Atrium. Let's give it a touch and get the omen of prosperity in the New Year!
