repetto
The story begins in 1947. In a tiny workshop located on the 22 rue de la Paix, very close to the National Opera of Paris, Rose Repetto, heeding her son’s advice, Roland Petit, started to design her very first ballet shoes In no time, Repetto became the reference for every dancer. In 1956, upon Brigitte Bardot’s request, the first Repetto flat ballerinas were designed based on a unique technique for ballet shoes known as the ‘cousu retourné’. Even today, this unique know-how brings comfort and unparalleled softness to all Repetto ballerinas and continues to inspire thousands of elegant and sophisticated women all over the world.
