In April 2005, exactly one year after the dramatic departure from Gucci Group, Tom Ford announced the creation of the TOM FORD brand. After this announcement Tom Ford has created TOM FORD Beauty and TOM FORD eyewear, and in February 2006, Tom Ford has started worldwide distribution of luxury men’s ready to wear and made to measure clothing, footwear and accessories under the TOM FORD label. Tom Ford opened his first directly owned flagship store in New York 845 Madison Avenue to coincide with the much anticipated debut of the signature TOM FORD menswear and accessory collection. After NY opening, TOM FORD INTERNATIONAL announced a targeted global expansion. In June 3, 2010 Tom Ford opened the Hong Kong store is located in the ifc mall, one of the city’s most prestigious retail centers. The Hong Kong Tom Ford menswear store occupies 1700 square feet of space on the second floor of the IFC mall. The Hong Kong store will offer the comprehensive range of products that clients have come to expect from TOM FORD. This includes the Made-to-Measure service, along with the complete Menswear, Beauty and Eyewear collections.
